THE MYSTERY OF THE SEVEN STARS

Stars in Scripture often represent messengers.

Revelation 1:20 The mystery of the seven star which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candle-sticks. The seven stars are the seven angels of the seven churches: and the seven candle sticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

The Lord explained that the seven stars, which He held in His hand, represented the angels of the seven churches.

The Greek word translated " angel" is aggelos, which means a "messenger." This word sometimes referred to angelic- messengers, but often represented a person, especially apostles who were the special messengers of the Church.

This is generally understood to be the meaning of these "stars" in Revelation, because the words given to the seven churches were to be delivered to the "angel" of each church. And it is very obvious, that angelic messengers do not need to have such words or messages delivered to them in writing. For example, the LORD said, to the angel of Ephesus write..REV. 2:1

These "stars" have always been considered the leaders of each of these churches. And this symbolizes the leaders of the seven Church Ages, which has past.

We are now in the age of the Laodiceans church, which is the final age of the Church on earth, that will mark her final movements in the air, which is her rising into her true spiritual cloud, for the ultimate fulfilment of her eternal destiny in God. And the spiritual leaders of this church age, are now being raised, to take their place in helping to fulfill God's eternal plan and purposes for the earth and for all men.
